El verbo BE es el único que tiene dos formas para el pasado: was y were. Se utiliza was con la primera y la tercera
persona del singular y were con todas las demás personas:
I was in Málaga yesterday
He was at home at night.
She was my girlfriend.
It was her dog, not my dog.
You were not at home yesterday.
We were in London last year.
They were my best friends.
